The Combat Survival Vest M10 (CSV-M5) is designed for real world military operations or survival situations and has been in production since 1984. It's ergonomic design gives you the comfort and capability to meet the mission of modern combat. The six magazine and two utility pouches are positioned to allow running, jumping, squating, low crawling and firing your weapon with optimum efficency. The CSV-M10 magazine and utility pouches each have a silent opening clasp to secure against accidental pouch opening, and provide for maximum operational stealth. The clasps can be opened easily wearng gloves and won't wear out like velcro or clog with grit like snaps. The pouch positions are designed for CSV compatability with all current issue USGI backpacks and rucksacks.

The standard CSV-M10 mag pouches have internal dividers and can holds up to 12 rifle magazines and 2 fragmentation grenades. Each magazine pouch is designed to hold 2 rifle magazines with an internal webbing reinforced divider. The utility pouches will hold 1 grenade, U.S., soviet, or chicom, 2 M16 20 RND mags, 2 field dressings, or 10 12GA shotshells.There are 2 front inside pockets for maps, extra magazines, or a handgun.The CSV-M10 for M16 is US UNIVERSAL for current inventory, holding 12 each M16 30 round mags, or 6 each M14 20 round mags, or 18 each HK-MP5 30 round mags.

The CSV-M10 has an assortment of integrated accessories that use webbing attachment points at the shoulder and sides. The CSV PATROL PACK ,included with vest, has a 624 cu/in capacity and attaches at shoulder level like a back pack. The PATROL PACK has 2 side web bars, draw cord closure, quick -release flap buckles, 6 steel loops and 2 webbing loops for additional accessory integration, and will hold 2 -100 oz. water bladders. The CSV-M10 integrates with the CSV RECON PACKS and CSV LOAD STABILIZER STRAPS that make carrying the integrated packs effortless, and completely balanced with a heavy load of equipment. Other integrated accessories include the GI 64 OZ canteen carrier, and sleeping bag carrier. The CSV has 2 webbing attachment points in the rear, with eyelets, for canteens or other equipment. A USGI PISTOL BELT attaches to the bottom edged using 8 ADJUSTABLE belt loops.

The CSV is semi-adjustable for USGI chest sizes of medium (37 IN) to extra large (49 IN to 60 IN) and heights of short to extra-long. The adjustable front and back openings are designed for ventilation in hot climates and to fit over bulky clothing in cold climates. Size is adjusted using nylon webbing with quick release buckles in front and non-slip buckle in back with elastic strap keeper. The CSV is made from 1000 Denier DUPONT CORDURA NYLON fabric, the most wear resistant nylon made. If you have a nylon GI duffle bag you know how durable CORDURA is. The CSV features a one piece foundation, assembled with only 2 webbing reinforced shoulder seams, giving the CSV extra strength and durability. All closure and suspension points are reinforced. Assembly of the vest is done to U.S. military specifications using straight and box-x stitching, with stress points reinforced with bar tacks. The CSV is available in solid colors and camouflage pattern for all user specified weapons.
