Fully integrated pack for CSV and other accessories. It attaches to the CSV at the shoulders like a back pack. There are 3 suspension straps which attach to the shoulder suspension webbing, and 2 webbing straps which attach to the vest sides. It has 2 side compression straps. 3 Webbing loops with eyelets are located on sides and flap for attaching extra equipment. 4 webbing strap loops are located on sides and bottom for straps and attachment of CSV SLEEPING BAG CARRIER and other equipment. There are 4 suspension loops on the top and sides for attaching the CSV LOAD STABILIZER STRAPS, and 2 suspension loops on the back for attaching the CSV GI 64 OZ CANTEEN CARRIER.
Main compartment capacity of 780 cu/in can hold 6 MRE's or a PRC-25/77 radio. The large tunneled outside pocket has 180 cu/in capacity holding a poncho or GI 1 QT canteen. The CSV RECON PACK TYPE 1 will easily accomidate a 72 hour combat load of: 3 MRE's, USGI field jacket, poncho, pair of soxs, weapon cleaning pouch, and a 140 RND bandoleer of 5.56mm or a M18 claymore.
